How to install Wordpress on Ubuntu server 22.04

Commands :

sudo apt update

sudo apt install apache2

sudo apt install mysql-server

sudo mysql_secure_installation

sudo apt install php libapache2-mod-php php-mysql

sudo systemctl restart apache2

sudo mysql

   CREATE DATABASE wordpress;

   CREATE USER 'wordpressuser'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY 'password';

   GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON wordpress.* TO 'wordpressuser'@'localhost';

   FLUSH PRIVILEGES;

   EXIT;

   

cd /tmp

curl -LO https://wordpress.org/latest.tar.gz

tar xzvf latest.tar.gz

cp /tmp/wordpress/wp-config-sample.php /tmp/wordpress/wp-config.php

sudo nano /tmp/wordpress/wp-config.php

(Update the username, database name and the password in the config file)

    define( 'DB_NAME', 'wordpress' );

    define( 'DB_USER', 'wordpressuser' );

    define( 'DB_PASSWORD', 'password' );

    

sudo rsync -avP /tmp/wordpress/ /var/www/html/

    

sudo chown -R www-data:www-data /var/www/html/

sudo chmod -R 755 /var/www/html/

   

sudo rm index.html
